Professional DJ Entertainment

Every event gets a professionally prepared music library, experienced DJ mixing and music tailored to the crowd.

We work across decades and genres, including country, Texas country, pop, rock, classic rock, hip-hop, R&B, Motown, disco, funk, Latin, Tejano, cumbia, dance, EDM, throwbacks and current music.

We use professionally sourced and licensed music rather than depending on streaming services, which means the music is prepared before the event and does not depend on venue Wi-Fi or a cellular connection.

Music requests are welcome, and clients can provide must-play songs, special dances, introductions, ceremony selections, do-not-play songs and other important musical details before the event.

Weddings

Wedding entertainment can include everything from the ceremony through the final dance.

We can provide ceremony music, processional and recessional cues, wireless microphones, cocktail-hour music, grand entrances, first dances, parent dances, dinner music, toasts, cake-cutting announcements, open dancing, special traditions and final-song coordination.

For ceremonies located away from the reception space—or locations where electrical power is limited—we can provide separate battery-powered ceremony sound systems without running cables across the property.

Professional MC Services

A great event needs more than music.

We can handle introductions, announcements, timeline coordination, special dances, speeches, activities and transitions throughout the event while keeping the microphone work professional and natural.

The goal isn't to constantly talk over the event. It is to make sure everyone knows what is happening, important moments are not missed, and the celebration continues moving.

Clear speech is one of the most important parts of an event.

Depending on the event, we can provide wireless handheld microphones, wireless lapel microphones and separate ceremony systems for officiants, couples, speakers, presentations and announcements.

For larger events, additional speakers can be positioned throughout the venue to provide more even coverage instead of simply turning one pair of speakers louder.

LoneStar Entertainment owns multiple professional sound systems so the equipment can be scaled to the size and type of event.

Our inventory includes professional Electro-Voice powered loudspeakers, JBL powered subwoofers, battery-powered EV systems, additional powered speakers, wireless audio systems and professional DJ equipment.

That allows us to build everything from a clean, unobtrusive wedding setup to much larger outdoor, school, community and stadium-style systems.

We can also provide separate sound zones when an event uses multiple areas.

Private Parties & Special Events

Birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, graduation parties, themed events, neighborhood celebrations, outdoor parties and unusual venues are absolutely welcome.

Some of our favorite events are the ones that don't fit neatly into a category.

If there is a place to put a DJ—and sometimes even when there isn't—we can usually figure out a professional way to make it work.

Not every great event happens inside a ballroom.

Our inventory includes battery-powered speakers, wireless audio links, wireless lighting and portable power systems, allowing us to work in gardens, fields, courtyards, ranches, outdoor ceremony sites and other locations where electrical access may be limited.

That capability can also reduce the amount of visible cabling throughout an event.

Behind the scenes, we use professional DJ controllers, computers, wireless microphone systems, professional powered speakers, subwoofers, wireless audio transmission, event lighting and backup equipment.

Our primary systems are built around equipment from manufacturers including Pioneer DJ, Electro-Voice, JBL and Shure.

More importantly, we own enough equipment to build different systems for different applications rather than forcing the exact same DJ setup into every event.

Lighting & Atmosphere

Lighting is one of the fastest ways to completely change the feel of an event. LoneStar Entertainment can provide everything from subtle, elegant room enhancement to a fully immersive dance-floor experience built around the energy of the party.

Our lighting inventory includes wireless uplighting, battery-powered fixtures, dance-floor effects, intelligent lighting, color washes, moving effects, white lighting fixtures, GigBAR-style systems, specialty effects and immersive lighting setups. Because much of our equipment is wireless or battery powered, we can create a polished look without filling the venue with visible power cords.

For weddings and formal events, lighting can begin with soft whites, warm tones or colors that complement the décor. As the evening progresses, the same room can transition into a much more energetic environment once the dance floor opens.

For parties, schools, corporate events and larger celebrations, we can create brighter, more dynamic looks using coordinated movement, color changes and effects throughout the room.

Our Immersive Dance-Floor Lighting option takes things even further. Instead of placing every fixture behind the DJ, lighting can be positioned around the dance floor, so guests are surrounded by color and movement. This creates a much more complete club or concert-style atmosphere while still maintaining a clean, professional setup.

Lighting options can include uplighting around walls and columns, dance-floor lighting, room washes, moving effects, perimeter lighting, wireless fixtures, battery-powered lighting for areas without convenient electrical access, specialty black-light effects when appropriate, and custom lighting layouts designed specifically for the venue.

Every room is different, so we don't believe in forcing the same lighting package into every event. We look at the size of the space, the layout of the dance floor, the existing venue lighting and the atmosphere you want to create, then build the lighting around your event.
